InvestorPlace -- one of the largest, fastest growing, fastest moving financial publishers on the planet -- is looking for a Senior Manager of Technology Operations to lead our Technology Operations team.
Our Technology Operations team is the powerhouse that serves as the central operations hub for our thriving publishing business. This team is the rock-solid core that our editorial, marketing, copywriting, and customer service groups depend on to provide the best experience possible to our customers. This dynamic group handles a diverse and critical suite of functions and responsibilities across tech, creative, and operations.
The Senior Manager of Technology Operations will collaborate across the organization to improve the overall efficiency of our technology operations and create a culture of continuous improvement. This role requires strong and empowering leadership skills, strategic thought leadership, influencing without authority, and an ability to execute. Your efforts will lead to swifter resolutions, higher quality of support, and more efficient processes.
The ideal candidate will push everyone involved in our company’s operational group to strive for excellence and progress. But that’s not enough.
Even more important, this person is also great at the “people side” of team management and cross-company interaction. Above all, the person in this role is an ally to every member of the InvestorPlace team. Strong rapport with teammates and energy around day-to-day work is paramount. Our company is running at warp speed, and we need someone to help keep this fine-tuned engine running longer, faster, and stronger.
If this is you, we can’t wait to talk.
This is an incredible opportunity to join a well-respected financial publishing company in the downtown Baltimore area.
As a Member Services Representative at InvestorPlace, you will be responsible for handling incoming phone call inquiries regarding both educational and transactional matters surrounding our financial publications.
This role offers a large amount of hands on experience and knowledge surrounding a number of finance topics and strategies that are covered in our newsletters.
Member Services Representatives are expected to be knowledgeable on a large array of financial jargon and knowledge surrounding the stock market as a whole in order to provide our subscribers with the proficient service they have come to expect with subscribing to our research. We are not financial advisors, however, we have an excellent training and on-boarding course to put our phone representatives in a position to succeed.
InvestorPlace is looking for an Marketing Specialist with a passion for driving revenue through subscriptions, a commitment to quality publishing, and a strong focus on making connections with our readers and prospects.
In this role, you are responsible for assisting with all elements of our online promotions. You will have the opportunity to be an important part of the entire creative experience from ads to landing pages to webforms. You will help maintain tracking and reporting on the metrics of our full sales funnels.
We are looking for self-starters that are highly innovative and comfortable working on campaigns from conception through execution and analysis. We love finding folks that want to roll their sleeves up and be part of a very successful marketing team. Successful candidates will possess the skills or learn on the job how to become experts in renewal and retention marketing funnels that ultimately drive highly qualified sales to grow our business.
What We’re Doing
We’re adding a Market Analyst to our research team to meet fast-growing demand for our high-quality, independent investment advice. The analyst will help investors answer questions from the basic “where do I even get started in investing?” to the advanced “how this growth company shows red flags of financial fraud.” We do this by reaching millions of readers each month on InvestorPlace.com, and millions more as our content distributes throughout the web and social media.
If you’ve always wanted to help explain investing to your friends, or find yourself writing SeekingAlpha articles for fun, then this position is for you.
Who We Are Looking For
We’re looking for a stock market analyst who has BOTH
- Serious financial chops
- The ability to communicate their findings to retail investors
You will primarily be writing on stocks, much like you would at a buy-side or sell-side shop (i.e., you’ve completed formal financial training). But instead of reiterating dry facts for a handful of portfolio managers, you’re going to add opinion, personality, and (dare we say…) intrigue to the stock recommendations you make. You’ll also have to be ready to do video interviews, podcasts, and directly engage with your audience as necessary.
From a skills standpoint, you should be able to convert between FCFE and EBITDA in your sleep (no checking Investopedia!), yet also have the writing skills to make sure readers don’t fall asleep when you’re explaining the difference. In other words, your goal at InvestorPlace is to create engaging financial education content people have always wanted, but could never find.
InvestorPlace.com, a fast-growing site with 10mm+ monthly readers, is searching for a passionate Assistant Editor to join our team!
We’re a financially stable and growing company owned by an even bigger and more financially stable company. Yes, we’re in that position even after everything that’s happened in the markets in the last few months. Many people are seeking quality advice and guidance on investing and the markets right now, and our stable of products has proven to be where many investors are turning in these markets.
To support this demand, we’re looking for an Assistant Editor to join our established digital media team who enjoys deconstructing complex arguments as much they enjoy devouring quarterly reports. But we’re really looking for editors who love working a newsroom and clearing stacks of copy. As an Assistant Editor, it will be your responsibility to edit our long form financial copy before it is published.
While we run at a high volume, we pride ourselves on accuracy, relevancy and timeliness. That is why we employ talented writers and have big-time partnerships with major sites like Yahoo, MSN and Business Insider. But we believe high-quality content only matters if people click on it. As such, success in this role is closely tied to the amount (and quality) of users our editors can attract with sharp news judgment, savvy SEO usage and the ability to wring top-quality content from our writers.
If your knowledge of financial markets begins and ends with Billions (and who doesn’t love Damian Lewis?) don’t fret -- we will give you the finance education you need to succeed. The content you'll edit consists of fact-based commentary and actionable market advice to help investors make smarter decisions about their investments.
Attention copywriters! Are you interested in writing for editors with incredible bios with phenomenal track records? Are you wanting to partner with editors that are enthusiastic about copy? Would you like to join a team with awesome and compelling copy ideas to write about?
If so, come talk to InvestorPlace. We’re the team that came out of nowhere last year to post rocket-like 93% revenue growth. We’re on pace to grow even more this year – and we did it with one of the smallest copy teams in the industry. This is where you come in. We’re growing fast and we need your help. If you want to be part of team that’s growing like crazy (and share in our surging revenue growth), drop us a line.
We can talk about our top-tier, copy-loving editors. One of them recommended AAPL at $1.49, MSFT at 39 cents, and Google before anyone else, according to MarketWatch. Another was ranked #1 stock picker by TipRanks (by the way, he has a service which recommends a small cap stock every day the markets are open. At last count he has over 80 doubles in the past 12 months.) Or we can talk about the crypto analyst whose portfolio is up nearly 1,000% or the editor who won a Wall Street investing contest where he beat out numerous hedge fund billionaires. Lots to discuss! (I didn’t even get to talk about our “idea list” which contains multiple million-dollar ideas, many of which still need to be assigned, or our copy “tool shed” which is a fantastic resource for newer writers.) We can go over it all when we meet.
InvestorPlace is currently looking for a technology and innovation-focused stock analyst to lead a new financial research franchise. Our goal is to create a hugely successful research franchise that helps investors make money in the ever-changing world of technology.

Thanks to innovations in 5G, IoT, space travel, artificial intelligence, autonomous vehicles, augmented reality, blockchain, cryptocurrencies, nanotechnology, batteries, solar energy, and biotechnology, we believe it will stay high for a long, long time.
InvestorPlace is looking for an experienced equity analyst that can recommend winning technology investments, write insightful research reports, and show people what the near future has in store.
A passion for technological innovation is a must for this role. Our ideal candidate is someone that reads research reports on innovations in artificial intelligence, blockchain, and autonomous vehicles for fun.
